OBJECT ADOPTION
2013
During June 2013 I investigated the aesthetics of tools and ended up with a big family of objects, that did not have a purpose. I decided they should be separated to see what would happen to the individual object when it left the family. I made an adoption stand at a flea market and greeted the new caretakers of my family. In return of receiving this new friend I asked them for image-documentation of how the object was doing in it's new surroundings.
The result is a collection of 'purposes'.
Materials: polyurethane foam, wood, cork, plaster, found objects.
