CAKE WORKSHOP
2017
Workshop made in collaboration with Kristine Nørgaard Andersen.
The students of the graphic design course were challenged to transform their favourite record covers into 3dimensional edible sculptures - CAKES.
Swapping illustrator and the risoprinter with frosting, soft vanilla sponge and buttercream forced the students out of their comfort zone and led to a new way of interpreting the graphic language. The cakes then served as inspiration for a poster, which would reflect what the proces of working with the physical material had added to the starting point. From 2d to 3d - and back again.
Cakes and posters were exhibited...
AND eaten of course.
